  • This clinic may not be suitable for individuals seeking brief, symptom-focused care without assessment, or for those expecting immediate intervention without engagement in the broader recovery process.

If you are seeking a considered, systems-based approach to understanding persistent pain or performance limitation, you are welcome to submit a consultation request.

  • Consultations are most suitable for individuals experiencing persistent, complex, or treatment-resistant pain, or for those whose symptoms do not align clearly with structural findings alone.

Many individuals seeking care have previously undergone imaging, procedures, or multiple courses of treatment without sustained improvement. Others present with performance limitation, recurrent injury, or reduced recovery capacity despite rehabilitation.

If your presentation does not fit neatly into a single diagnostic category, this does not preclude assessment.

  • The initial consultation is intentionally longer than standard appointments.

Time is allocated to review clinical history, prior investigations, and current concerns, and to explore how symptoms interact with movement, activity, sleep, stress, and recovery. Assessment focuses on identifying the mechanisms most likely to maintain symptoms, rather than on confirming a diagnosis alone.

Findings are discussed during the consultation, with an explanation of clinical reasoning and, where appropriate, potential management directions.

  • Care is deliberate and collaborative. Immediate symptom resolution cannot be guaranteed, and management may involve gradual change rather than rapid intervention.

Individuals are encouraged to engage actively in the process, ask questions, and reflect on the information provided. Recommendations are guided by assessment findings and adapted over time based on clinical response and functional outcomes.

Where further investigation or collaborative care is required, this is discussed openly.

  • To request a consultation, please complete the Contact Us form on the right.

Submitted information is reviewed to ensure the clinic’s scope and approach align with your presentation. Where appropriate, you will be contacted to discuss next steps and appointment availability.

Requesting a consultation at Ivins Pain & Performance Clinic initiates a considered clinical process rather than an immediate booking.

Care is structured around extended assessment and clinical reasoning. This allows time to understand the factors contributing to persistent pain or performance limitation, and to determine whether the clinic’s approach is appropriate for the individual presentation.
